Congratulations to the team from Helensvale State High School for their Silver medal in the ISSCC Competition in Taipei with their dish:

Desert Oak Crusted Pork Tenderloin, Macadamia Gnocchi, Compressed Pumpkin & a Goat Curd Bubble with Apple, Ginger and Lime Caramel Dressing.

Glen Bacon, Executive Head Chef from RACQ Royal Pines has been mentoring students from Helensvale High School and when the opportunity came up for Commercial Kitchen Company to become sponsors for an upcoming competition we grabbed it with both hands.

The students – Ronan Bacon & Jenna Swiney - were entering the ISSCC Competition 2017 as part of the ACF Australian Team in the Hot Cookery Section and needed crockery that would make their food look professional and amazing.

The team at Commercial Kitchen Company presented the students with a selection of plates from the Dudson Range which would complement their dishes.

I would sincerely like to thank you for your donation from the Commercial Kitchen Company for the beautiful plates for the ACF Australian Team who competed in the International Secondary School Culinary Challenge in Taipei.

The plates made the presentation of the meal look very professional.  Please see the photo attached.  The students won a Silver medal for their skill, presentation and teamwork.

The standard was extremely high at an International level and Helensvale State High are very proud of their achievement.
