We all know that to keep things fresh and interesting for our customers we need to update certain areas of our business and an easy way to do this is to change up the crockery. By adding different shapes and vibrant colours you can showcase your food in an entirely different light.
Executive Sous Chef of Rydges Southbank CBD, Justin Newbury, was wanting to do just that in the Cafe located on the ground floor of the venue.
A great place to catch up for a drink or meal, Justin wanted to update the bowls and plates with something strong and colourful to compliment the cups they were already using.
Mel from Commercial Kitchen Company has a great reputation working with hotels to deliver outcomes that will achieve their desired look and feel, so after a meeting with Justin earlier in the year headed in to the cafe with some samples from Trenton. Mel took plates from the Churchill Stonecast range including Mustard Seed Yellow, Spiced Orange, Cornflour Blue, Peppercorn Grey & Duck Egg Blue in a variety of shapes and they loved what they saw and ended up going ahead with nearly every item.
Rydges Southbank have showcased their new menu and new look with a photo shoot and the food looks amazing!!
