Description
The Meiko UPster U 400 is a 460 mm-wide undercounter glasswasher with a 400 x 400 mm rack and 300 mm entry height, built for bars, cafés and restaurants washing glassware and small plates behind the counter.
Electrically it matches the larger U 500 at 2.8 kW total load and 13.4 A maximum with a 15 A fuse, so budget a dedicated circuit even though the cabinet is compact. Its 11-litre tank and 2.2 litres of rinse water per cycle keep consumption down, and ventilation demand is 250 m³/h against 400 m³/h for the U 500. If plates, trays or larger crockery join the load, the UPster U 500 dishwasher adds a 500 mm rack; for a glass-only bar the U 400 keeps bench space tight.
