Description
The Roband BM1 is the single-pan model in Roband’s counter-top hot bain marie range, taking one 1/2 size gastronorm pan up to 150 mm deep on just 670 W. It is rated for wet operation only, so always run it with water in the tank.
It suits a café holding one sauce, gravy or soup through service, or the end of a buffet that needs one hot well. Roband’s BM1E kit pairs this body with a 200 mm round 7.25 L pot and lid, a handy option for soup. If you need two pans, or the option of dry heat, step up to the Roband BM2 two-pan bain marie; Roband also makes a thermostat version of this unit, the BM1T. Pans are not supplied with the BM1.
