Description
The Anvil TSA1009 is a flat-plate sandwich press, or flat toaster, with cast aluminium plates and a 330 × 355 mm cooking surface for toasted sandwiches, focaccias and burgers.
The adjustable top plate sets to the thickness of the product, so a loaded focaccia toasts rather than squashes, which suits a café or lunch bar doing toasties to order. It draws 2.15 kW on 240 V and the detachable drip cup catches fat when you use it for burgers or tomatoes. A Teflon sheet set is sold separately and is worth adding if you toast cheese-heavy fillings. If you prefer grill marks on the bread, the Anvil single panini press with a ribbed top is the alternative.
